Play therapy allows
the child to address problems in a safe environment. Processing trauma through
play therapy can allow the child to heal. Symbolic problems can be created and
solved giving the child skills for life outside of the therapy session. If you
are shying away from treating children, this workshop will give you comfort.
This course teaches the therapist how to connect with parents and the child.
Play therapy, art therapy, anger management, parents and homework, toys and
play, sand tray therapy, art therapy, and the difference in therapy from three
years to teens are all included. Workshop is a four hour session. Workshop is held at 898 5th Street, Lincoln, CA 95648. Come play with us and learn to feel comfortable treating children.
