June’s Texas Brownies-now Gluten Free-Dairy Free
2 cups GLG gluten free Master Mix (found on GingerLemonGirl.com)
2 cups sugar
2 sticks margarine
3 Tablespoons Hersey’s Cocoa
1 cup water
½ soy or almond milk with 1 teaspoon vinegar added
(buttermilk replacement)
2 eggs-slightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda (added in addition to the leavenin g
in the Ma ster M ix)
Put sugar and flour in a bowl and set aside.

B ring to a
boil; butter, cocoa, and water.
Pour hot mixture over sugar/flour mix.
Add
milk, eggs, soda, and vanilla. Mix well.
Pour into a greased/floured cookie
sheet or large cake pan.

Bake 20 minutes 400 degrees.

Frosting
for June Brownies
Bring to a boil';
One stick of margarine,
4 Tablespoons cocoa,
and
2 Tablespoo ns soy or a lmond milk.
.
Take off heat a nd add one box of powdered
sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Mix well until smooth.

Add nuts to the frosting
here or sprinkle on top of the frosted brownies.
Frost cake while it is still a little warm.
